Xiama - what the players said
I am having a lot of fun playing the game.
I love your new game "Xiama".
I have Xiama and am very impressed with your puzzles. I have been a puzzle nut most of my life and its refreshing to find a new game that offers some new ideas in puzzles.
Started playing Xiama last night. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The photography is breathtaking - you've left yourself a big ask in making a follow up!
These puzzles are tough! You've got me pulling my hair out! THOROUGHLY enjoying it!
I really loved this game. I think it is a wonderful effort by an independent game maker. Most of them just ape the standard games and can't do it as well. Peter did something different. I was really sorry when it was over.
I came, I saw, I ordered!
... the birds sounded so real it gave you a feeling that you were right there (and I don't even like birds)
Now I'm waiting for the next one, and the next one, and the next one. :-)
I bought Xiama and when you finish the other game, I will buy it too!
Peter, reading the forum at gameboomers everyone who has tried this game has enjoyed it. ... I think you are onto a winner if you have engendered that much enthusiasm from hardened gamers.
This is a great game, Peter. The graphics are gorgeous and the puzzles are neat.
Using Photographs is a cool idea, it's like travelling there from your living room.
I have a feeling that the new game Xiama will be right up there at the top.....
Beautiful scenery--I could have just stayed with the installation program, soaking my feet in that waterfall!
Some unusual and tough puzzles.....
I'm loving this game...
The pictures are just beautiful! The navigation is easy.
The graphics remind me of Welcome to the Future, really beautiful place to walk around.
All in all, the puzzles are a great variety, well presented and enjoyable (no hair pulling kind) all solvable and FUN! FUN! FUN!
Overall impression of the game is that it is so breathtakingly beautiful, I simply must get to this place to walkaround "live" someday. These pictures are wonderful! When I got the night to fall I just sat back for minutes and listened to the sounds.
I think Peter has done something unique here - everyone finds something different in the game. It's like the committee of blind guys assigned to describe the elephant. (A tree, a snake, a rope, a wall, etc.)
love them turtles
A great big thanks to Peter who not only constructed this lovely game but also has been so helpful along the way.
... the pleasant communication to no other than the constructor of the game, made me think of how gaming (allegedly) used to be.
I had a wonderful time with this game, I even enjoyed the birdsongs, something I never thought possible after Atlantis2.
What most impressed me was the uniqueness of the puzzles. You won't love them all, but there was a puzzle for everyone's taste.....from the child to the expert.
