How do I save where I am in Magnetic?

Where can I find Hints for Magnetic?

One of the more amazing features of Magnetic is that you are given hints
as you play and only if you need them.
I have also set up a Hints Section in the
Players Only Forum (bottom right button).

I find the panning effect too slow on my computer.
Can I turn it off?

Sure! Create C:\Program Files\Magnetic\magnetic.txt with just the word pan_off in it.

I don't want anything stored on my C: drive. Magnetic installed ok to my D: drive
but I see from the above that stuff still goes to my C: drive.
Can I turn it off?

Right click on the Magnetic icon on your desktop and edit its properties thus
There's a space after the "exe"
|

I notice there are midi files on the CD - these sound much better than the sound in Magnetic.
I have a great midi system!

To use the midi files, create C:\Program Files\Magnetic\magnetic.txt with just the word midi in it.
I found that the midi played too softly on most systems which is why I converted to ogg format.
