Each month there'll be some random thoughts here and a sneaky "keyhole" peek at a scene from the actual game.
One of the highlights of Magnetic is the intriguing story that unfolds as you play the game.
It has been gratifying that people who've read the story - and this includes my mum :) -
have thoroughly enjoyed it even without the trappings of the game.
With an adventure game it is essential to let the player explore and play
the way they want to - this is the real challenge for the game designer -
to allow the player this freedom but, at the same time, unfold the story in a coherent
way with lots of sudden flashes of discovery.
