What the Players Say
I do want to tell you that you have outdone yourself and that as much as I loved Xiama and Magnetic Magicama blows them away.
Magicama is such a wonder to me as I had no idea that I could have as much fun as I'm having. So much to look forward to that even when I'm stuck I'm not discouraged or bored. I sort of figure it will make the overall fun last longer, and I'm all for that.
Excellent game! I'll be your best cheerleader. :-)
Green meadow, warm sun, path and woods - I would have liked to just sit on a big rock somewhere and soak it all up, but duty calls, so on we'll go.
I cannot tell you enough how much I enjoyed making my way through Magicama. It's a definite winner. You have without a doubt found ways to communicate how to do the tasks without using words. You have such a wide array of tasks that everyone should be able to find something that will tickle their fancy and want more.
This is so MUCH fun. It is all so nice and new to me too, I feel like Columbus exploring new territory! Sail on! Well actually I should say: Game on!
Another one of those wonderful tasks that I just can't get enough of! I could keep going forever. Loved it and the challenge increases at the perfect rate. Excellent!
... the most beautiful sea landscape - and to make it even better, a piano playing "No Other Love" in the background. I could just sit there and look at it all day.
Every time it seemed I couldn't go any further or that it was impossible I did it! Love that feeling when you think you can't but all of a sudden you do it.
You are really bringing in some very different types of puzzles, but of course Xiama and Magnetic were that way too.
A few weekends ago I played for almost 12 hours. I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to max out all the levels, I really like the gold bar around the edges. It gives you a sense of accomplishment.
My thirteen year old granddaughter was spending the night and I was telling her about Magicama. I wanted to show her some of the beautiful scenery, so I opened it up, panned around, and opened the first box. Right away she wanted to know what it was all about, so I said I'd show her how it worked. (First I changed all the numbers, so that she could see how each step worked out.) About the time we got to the fourth number, she said exactly the same thing I did at that point- "How can you finish, there is so much yet to do and only one number left?" I just smiled mysteriously and told her to keep watching. When I put in the last number and started it going, she let out a big "OOOOOH!!!" When the drawing was finished, all she could say was "WOW, that is SO cool!!" (That is the ultimate of teenaged approval at the moment.)
Having played all three of your games I really must say that Magicama is the gem of them all. There is a task there to please everyone. It is very diverse and enjoyable and left me wanting more
I got so wrapped up in playing that I didn't even realize I had made it to the end!
One thing I meant to comment on and keep forgetting is to compliment you on allowing the tasks to retain what you have accomplished if you need to exit before finishing. There is nothing more frustrating than working on a strategy for an hour and needing to exit prior to completing and you lose everything you have done. That is a winning touch for sure.
I started to play last night ... I finished the first [task] and totally love the concept. I'm currently just tinkering with it to see what interesting designs I can make. I'll focus on really trying to figure out the second in the set after I get the fun of playing with it out of my system. :-)
... the photography is beautiful!
I loaded Magicama and the next thing I knew over 2 hours had passed. I am really enjoying it can't wait to get back to it to-night.
What a wonderfully unique task [the Falling Red Balls]. Now I can't stop trying to get to all 9 (I have 8).
The graphic design is appealing, the stitching of the panoramas is first-class to my eyes. The music complements the whole. A worthy third game!
Gorgeous graphics!
